In an enchanting location beneath a small castle-topped town and overlooking a wide, pristine valley, an entire group of rusticos has been lovingly renovated by a discerning owner to become a quiet and comfortable refuge where to pamper both body and soul. Four stone buildings which made up an ancient Piemontese hamlet have become a welcoming abode for the owners and their guests. The former hayloft and stables have been turned into a sunny and warm master house with a large live-in kitchen on the ground floor, a loft-type living room, a masterbedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Large, arched windows, a wooden staircase and wooden floors transform the large rooms into intimate and cosy spaces to linger in. A combined solar-gas floor heating together with stylish wood stoves guarantee the right climate. The house opens onto a lawn and terrace which during the summer become a unique living space with the ground floor kitchen. The larger house which formerly contained the living quarters has been refurbished and turned into a welcoming spacious guesthouse with 5 bedrooms, a drawing room with fireplace, a large kitchen, a hobby room and a workshop, as well as cellars which are currently used as a pottery workshop and meeting room. A dollhouse-like two story stone shed close to the main house has become a separate and intimate one bedroom suite. From there, a path leads to a sauna underneath the terrace of the master house. Approaching the property, a small stone bread oven has been left intact. 5.6 hectares of sloping land surround the houses which, although at walking distance from the centre of the village, enjoy undisturbed quiet and privacy.
